It’s that time of year again, when you have to rush round (well actually sit on your arse whilst we do the rushing around!) in an attempt to get your favourite friends and family there present of choice from your one stop Head Shop Ali Bongo. Below are the VERY IMPORTANT times you will need to get your order to us by. Please bear in mind that this also depends on stock availability and cleared funds! Do yourself a massive favour, don’t leave it to the last minute, the info below is a guide only, we cannot guarantee 100% that orders will arrive in time for Christmas if left to the last minute!

The time from purchase of a product to dispatch depends on the payment method chosen, and stock availability.

Credit & Debit Card Payment

Orders dispatched immediately provided the order is received before 15:30 on a working day (Monday - Friday excluding UK bank holidays) subject to stock availability. We accept Visa and MasterCard worldwide. Please note you will be required to use Verified by Visa or MasterCard 3d Secure authentication.

Bitcoin and other crypto currencies

As soon as the transaction is confirmed orders are dispatched immediately provided the order is received before 15:30 subject to stock availability.

Bank Transfer

Follow the payment instructions on your confirmation email. Please do not use any payment reference other than your order number Email admin@alibongo.co.uk when you have completed payment. Orders dispatched when funds confirmed in our account.

Postal Order - UK Only

Orders are dispatched immediately provided the order is received before 15:30 subject to stock availability.

Please note we no longer accept payment by cheque or international money orders. If you send one, we will either return this to you at your cost, or destroy it.

All payments are taken in GBP - UK £ sterling - As a UK based web site we do not trade in € Euros. If you choose to view the products in a currency other than GBP the price displayed on the site is a guide only, you will be charged at the rate of exchange at the time of completion of payment, this may include a charge by your bank.

Delivery times for this option are 3-5 working, depending on courier used. The courier used will be based on the most economical price available for your region taking into account delivery time. If you would like to insure your goods against loss please contact us, as this will vary depending on value of order, location and the courier used

In some cases due to size and weight and your location we may need to contact you as the charge for shipping may not cover the cost. If this is the case, and you do not wish to proceed we will refund you in full.

Flammable Goods

We can only ship lighters by courier to UK addresses. We do not ship any flammable goods outside of the UK

Q - Why are there limited shipping options

A – If you have any flammable goods in your basket we can only ship by courier

Q – I am not offered any shipping options (International Customers only)

A – Remove any flammable goods from your basket

Q – Why am I not offered any cheaper shipping options

A – We use Royal Mail for some of our shipping options, they will not carry flammable goods. Remove any flammable goods from your basket and you will be offered all available shipping options based on basket value and weight

Q – I have had flammable goods from other sellers shipped through Royal Mail

A – Royal Mail fine companies and in some instances close accounts for breaking their prohibited and restricted items shipping. Some sellers take this risk, we will not

Q – I live in zone C or D why is shipping so expensive

A – We can only ship with couriers if your basket contains flammable goods. This is the cost of shipping to these zones by courier

Extra Information

Royal Mail 24 usually arrive within 1 - 3 working days, Royal Mail 48 usually arrive within 3 - 5 working days. In extreme cases both services can take up to 10 working days. Royal Mail does not consider items missing for 21 working days.

Royal Mail Special Delivery If your delivery doesn’t arrive by 1pm the next working day (or on the Saturday for Saturday Special) Royal Mail will repay the cost of the shipping to you. This isn’t instant and can take several weeks.

DHL Courier If you live in a place that is hard to find or difficult to access please provide extra instructions as unlike the postman the courier driver probably may not know the area completely.

Provided you have supplied a working mobile number, and/or email address you will be updated from the moment we book your delivery in for dispatch. You can do any of the following:
