Fingerprint Lock

Security is paramount with the Genesis Stash Box, which is equipped with a reliable fingerprint-locking mechanism so only you can access it. This feature ensures that your treasures are kept safe from prying eyes and provides you with peace of mind and security. BlueBus recommends making sure the battery is fully charged before initial use. 

How to use the Fingerprint Locking system:

1. First Use: Effortlessly activate your lock for the first time by placing any finger on the reader. A welcoming green light and two confirming beeps signify successful activation.
2. Secure Erase:  For enhanced security, press and hold the 'set' button located inside the fingerprint lock for 4 seconds. The sound of four beeps confirms that all previously stored fingerprints have been securely erased. BlueBus highly recommends this step before initial use for optimum security. 
3. Fingerprint Registration: 
   1. Initiate registration by pressing the setting button once, located at the back of the lock. The activation is indicated by a blue light and a single beep. 
   2. Gently place your finger on the reader for 1-2 seconds then lift off.
   3. Repeat the above step six times to ensure accuracy. A green light and two beeps will signal the successful registration of your fingerprint.  Please Note: for best results, vary the position of your finger with each attempt. You may register up to 20 unique fingerprints, allowing multiple users secure access. 
4. Accessing The Lock: Unlocking is simple & secure. Place a registered finger on the reader; a green light coupled with two beeps confirms validation and the lock will open.  
   1. Automatic Mode: Post-entry, the lock will automatically secure itself after 4 seconds
   2. Manual Mode:  Reactivate the lock by manually applying a registered fingerprint
5. Adjusting Lock Settings: To switch locking modes, press and hold the reset button for 6-7 seconds. Listen for four initial beeps followed by two additional beeps, indicating a successful change. Please note, this process will erase all stored fingerprints. 
6. Recharging The Battery: 
   1. Utilize the included USB port to recharge the built-in rechargeable Li-ion battery
   2. A red light will blink during charging, which ceases after about 3 hours, indicating a full recharge
   3. If the blinking light persists beyond 3 hours, cease charging to maintain battery integrity and performance
   4. With these steps, your fingerprint lock is not just a security device but a cutting-edge tool designed to provide seamless access control with a touch of personalization
